First of all - hope a second season will be created.

Really like the setting and characters of Nero. The man characters are not the classic good guy/bad guy types and develops during the episodes.

What I also like is that the fighting skills are more "realistic" than other series - the main character is a skilled assassin, but not the invincible type, in fact he got beaten several times.

And of course the plot twists are fun to watch as well.

When you learn that this series focus on a teenage girl who may or may not be central to the destiny of the world you may get strong YA vibes and consider scrolling on past, but actually give this a chance and you will discover a rewarding and refreshingly complete viewing experience. The characters are painted with a broad brush but engaging and the plot gathers pace towards the effective climax. As with season one of Warrior Monk, the world-building is imaginative and leaves you wanting more.

Nero the Assassin is a stunning, action-packed thriller that grips you from the very first scene. It is raw, violent, and refreshingly straightforward, avoiding unnecessary twists or filler moments.

The visuals are outstanding, with every fight sequence shot beautifully and choreographed with precision. The camera work gives the violence a cinematic elegance without losing its gritty realism. The pacing is relentless, keeping you fully engaged from start to finish.

Nero himself is a captivating anti-hero. Cold, efficient, and mysterious, he commands attention without needing much dialogue or backstory. The show focuses on his actions rather than explanations, which fits perfectly with its direct tone.

If you like fast-moving stories, stylish visuals, and intense action, Nero the Assassin delivers exactly what you want. It is not subtle, but it doesn't need to be. It is bold, brutal, and beautifully done.

This is exactly what I've wanted and not gotten. After one uninspiring, cancelled fantasy series after another, i had given up on streaming services, but ended up binging this while house sitting for a friend. Amazing characters and a story told with heart. Great well rounded female characters, who are strong in their own right, instead of just making a woman play a toxic male role. Awesome bad guys who aren't just arbitrarily evil. And heroes who are less than perfect.

This is the kind of story they should be telling, and I hope to see more like this.
