Three years after the events of Uncharted 3 former fortune hunter Nathan Drake has settled down in life. His routine is disrupted however when Sam his older brother who he assumed was dead bursts back into his life. When Sam needs help to find a legendary pirate artefact and with the promise of adventure and fortune Drake dives straight back into his old life to help his brother.
Set three years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake has settled down with his wife, Elena. But, when Drake's brother, who was presumed dead, shows up and asks Drake for his help to find a lost pirate artifact, Drake is back into the world of thievery.

Anecdotes
In chapter 11, once you watch the cutscenes (after leaving the tower), you can obtain a trophy called "Stage Fright" by standing still for 30 seconds. This is a humorous reference to Naughty Dogs technical problems when they first showed the scene on a live stage demo at E3.

Gaffes
Not all of the pirates mentioned throughout the game were active at the same time. While records of the era are incomplete and inexact, it's believed that Henry Avery died in the 1690's (possibly 1699 as the game posits). Christopher Condent is mentioned as one of his associates, but Condent wasn't even born until that decade. Anne Bonny, also mentioned, was not born until 1702. Edward England would have been a teenager at the time, being born in 1685.

Im speechless!

Words cannot describe how excited I was when this game was announced. When all the constant delays went by I started to become a little worried that maybe this title was going to flop, oh how wrong I was. This game is a masterpiece on every level, game play, story, and the graphics my god the graphics are out of this world. Now back to that story aspect, I became enthralled with this story easily the best Uncharted story NaughtyDog has produced. A story like this feels like it belongs up on the big screen with us shoving popcorn in our mouth in awe. The game play is very well polished, Nate feels more flexible in his movements and what he can do (you feel like a bad ass when playing this.) Every section in which you are thrown into combat feels like a big budget Hollywood studio is directing it as you go, what with the music blasting in the background and the heavy machine gun fire you will be laying down on enemies. NaughtyDog has done it again, with The Last of Us already stamped in our minds forever they now have another section of my brain they have taken over with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and are only further proving to us why they are the bet developers out there right now. A once in a lifetime experience awaits you with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
