After filming wrapped, the Lincoln Continental rocket car replica that was customized for the film was driven across Canada from Vancouver, British Columbia to Ingleside, Ontario, just outside Morrisburg, Ontario, where the original stunt took place in 1979. The trip was not without incident, as the car overheated and broke down many times on its journey. Fatefully, it last broke down in Morrisburg, Ontario before making the final leg of its journey to Ingleside. (August 2016)
