Pulling Up to Get Down

This 3-hours-plus Devil's Film DVD is cobbled together from 3 episodes of the Modern-Day Sins series, plus a very poor Pure Taboo segment. I must admit that I had more fun tracking down the sources of this material than actually watching it.

The odd man out is "Seducing the Gatekeeper" from Pure Taboo, directed by Ricky Greenwood. This is a different type of Pure Taboo vignette, leaving out the nastiness, but unfortunately the attempt by scripter Penicio Del Toro to present a more positive story fails utterly. Its reliance on unbelievable "porno logic" is preposteous.

Situation is as follows: Daddy Mickey Mod visits his daughter Lily's ex-girlfriend (whiny Braylin Bailey) to pick up the girl's belongings, but Braylin is desperate to find Lily to make up with her. She'll do anything, but Mickey refuses to help (his wooden, lousy performance is supposed to represent caring about his daughter's welfare).

Finally, Braylin seduces Mickey (completely unconvincing), in exchange for him helping her reunite with Lily. After a lengthy mechanical sex scene and his money shot deposited on her belly, Mickey dutifully writes down Lily's new address. End of story.

While Mod is a blank here, just a sex worker at work, Braylin's contrasting overacting is truly awful. So the "happy ending" goes for nought.

Another stinker is "Her Ex-Friend's Boyfriend". Tommy Pistol and Sophia Burns have a boring conversation about their mutual friend Beth, trying to cheer each other up. For no logical reason, they end up having sex together, a scene notable only for throwing in some foot fetish content. Which modern-day sin is being committed is not explained.

Victoria Voxxx and Seth Gamble star in "Free Use Pre-Nup", a stupid vignette directed by Anatomik Media. They have sex in the kitchen, supposedly "free use", as Seth has the right to hump his wife VV anytime he pleases because she cheated on him. This free use concept is ridiculous, apparently a MAGA phenomenon (see: "you can grab 'em by the pussy" logic).

Finally, the title scene actually makes sense, stupidly. Liz Jordan is having trouble installing a chinning bar in her home to exercise with, to do pull-ups. BBC stud Rocket Powers helps her and seduces her, leading to some acrobatic sex. Again, is that a sin?
