29 Neibolt Street

As an English major in China and a Chinese viewer, it took me some while to find the downloading link of this episode and then some time to spare from my busy schedule for this episode. Honestly as a loyal fan of Stephen king's works and a loyal fan who has watched all the screen adaptations of IT, I'm a little disappointed about how this season is going because the first episode, in my opinion, is one of the best first episodes, I've ever seen in such kind of children's adventure/horror TV dramas; however this episode is full of bad writing, especially regarding Major Russo's death, which is completely uncalled-for. That being said, I love how, the screenwriter arranges with Lilly's situation because at that final moment, she wasn't rescued by anyone else; she was simply lucky, and frankly under that circumstance, I couldn't think of any other more plausible resolution to her adversity since Pennywise was just going to eat her alive. Also Bill's acting is highly anticipated and, as we expect, laudable and impressive as always. And I love how Mrs. Kerch's line is getting more and more concrete and multi-dimensional; I am looking forward to her further representation in the following episodes.

In this series, especially in this episode, the horror was very good and the appearance of Pennywise was very nice and scary. At the same time, because it is in fantasy, the series is very entertaining and scary. The animations are very nice And it's really nice that we get to learn new things about Derry. I'll miss these characters, especially Will, as we'll be going back 27 years each season.

While the plot is still hard to navigate at times, this episode seemed like the most focussed, while also being the scariest episode in my opinion!

The horror and tension in this episode was the best thus far! In the other episodes, the scary moments were hit or miss! Some worked, while others were cringe!

The reveal in this episode was done very well! Best scene no doubt! Bill is just as good as in the movies!

The tension and horror as they enter the tunnels is really what elevates this episode!

I really hope the quality continues from this point on!

This is the breakthrough episode of the show. We are Deep in it now. The emotional edge against the characters is truly gripping.

I love the storyline and characters. This episode's special twist along with the character's struggles between "what is real" and "what is imaginary" is fascinating.

What can I say, I'm Hooked!

The fifth episode of Welcome to Derry absolutely blew me away. It strikes a perfect balance between character-driven storytelling and spine-chilling horror, building tension in a way that feels truly cinematic. The performances are exceptional, especially as the emotional stakes rise and the mystery deepens. The atmosphere is richer and darker than ever, and the pacing keeps you completely hooked from start to finish. This episode not only expands the mythology in smart, thrilling ways but also delivers some of the most memorable moments of the season so far. A phenomenal 10/10 - I genuinely can't wait for the next one.
