Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters

Simply the best celebrity reality series ever. Excellent subject matter. If I wasn't already aware of the problems that the world's most dangerous apex preditor was causing(that's us, not sharks), I am now. What a brilliant message, delivered very well by the experts. I hope it has the desired affect.

What an amazing programme. Sharks are much maligned and I hope this series goes some way to redress our attitude. They are the apex predators of the ocean, helping to keep the balance. It's humans that are the problem. I really hope these celebrities will become ambassadors for this species and help sharks (and thus all marine life) to populate the oceans and keep them healthy.

It is a shame about the language used - and I completely understand why - but it means the series can't really be shown to children which is a pity because it would help youngsters to appreciate how important the oceans and the life in them is.

Whilst the show was ok it was done much better by Steve Backshall and a group of kids, all without the need of celebrities that are desperate the put their face on the TV and all without paying the celebrities £1000s.

The celebrities as usual show that they can over dramatise the opening of a door, let alone actually swimming with sharks.

The only interest for the goulish would have been it one of them had become a midday snack, (not much of a loss).

It's about time TV companies stopped paying celebrities to do things that people pay a lot of money to do.

As an ex PADI Master Scuda Diver Trainer I loved the whole idea etc and enjoyed the way everyone interacted. But, those instructors needed to pay some more attention to the basics on those divers, they were diving using their hands and arms, bending their knees instead of keeping their legs straight etc to fin properly, and buoyancy control needed practice.

ITV, are you sure this is the direction you want to go in?

Are Ant and Dec too busy to host something...anything for you?

This was dire, in terms of the premise and the execution.

Surely it makes sense that if you are going to make celebs (I use the term loosely) mix with sharks, you make the celebs be people we actually care about.

A botched premise and the ratings reflect this.
