The story stays true to its origin with vivid imagery and great voice over. The English voice over is impressive, with that of Krishna being the best, conveying a calming influence over Arjun. The true essence of the Gita from the 11th Adhyay is portrayed in Episode 2. Grand visuals, sharp storytelling and a wonderful title track make it a watchable treat. Great attempt in retelling an ageold, timeless classic.

The story revolves around the battle fought between kauravs and pandavas on kurukshetra soil. It highlights what is Dharma and its opposite and how despite politics and brainstorming the fine line is never crossed and Dharma wins.

There are numerous stories which stitch together into this mythological epic. It is a delight to witness each of it.

Kauravs lost-Pandavas won, it's not that easy. Arjun's doubt, Fate of Abhimanyu and Bhim's son. Their stories show it was not one sided battle. I like how Netflix portrayed it.

My only complaint is that why Netflix dint produce entire epic and just the war that too pending for completion. Also what verse Krishna says to Arjun while showing his virat roop (Ok I can unsee that as internet is flooded with it).

I firstly hated Mahabharata, but except for a few things I now admire it, what an epic!

Final Verdict: Do watch it, you may be surprised to know few new things like me.

A show truly worthy of a perfect 10 in every aspect! Mahavatar Narsimha set the stage, but this series has taken it several steps further - blending stunning animation, modern fight sequences, and trending visual styles to retell these timeless stories for today's generation

Though I had already heard about 90% of these tales, that remaining 10% - especially the Jayadrath episode - genuinely surprised me. I love how the series unfolds in the same order as the Kurukshetra war, making it fascinating to realize that nearly 80% of the destruction took place in the last nine days

The storytelling is compelling, emotional, and beautifully crafted. I couldn't help but shed tears during the Abhimanyu episode. Much love to the creators - we need more such perspectives and narrations of our epics
