The movie is simply a masterpiece that you would watch once and recommend to others forever. Remember those moments when a movie leaves you flabbergasted and traumatized ? You are lucky to have found another one of those movies. It's called "Oldboy". If you have watched "the Prestige" by Christopher Nolan and enjoyed it then consider it a "Prestige on steroids"(a compliment) . The direction, the story , the philosophy and the narration is simply top notch. The movie has some very questionable elements and that's actually the whole point of this movie. The last 30 minutes to the movie is the epotome of absolute cinema. It reminds you about why you love movies and why you search relentlessly for good cinema. It's also one of the most fkd up things you will ever see so get excited.

There are some rare pieces of fiction in this world that can make you experience the whole spectrum of possible emotions without a single once of boredom. Gurenn Lagann is indeed one of them. These 26 episodes journey of pure joy will start from a undergroud pit and reach beyond the universe (literally). You will experience happiness, thrill , despair, rage, motivation, sadness and pure satisfaction. It is one the best animes in existence and I have watched hundreds of animes just to be clear. If you are a kind if person who can put logic aside and submerge in the fictional adventure just for the sake of pure action and thrill , this my friend is ready to enter your favourite animes list. Trust me and binge watch it for this is one of the best experience you can get in 26 episodes.

The simple formula like the one used in Cars 3. If you want to introduce a successor then you have to nerf the MC or other villians. The makers had an opportunity to utilize all the previous villains but they missed it. They could have atleast give Po a good shining moment and they kind of missed it too. They could have made the main villain more influential like Tai lung or Shen.

Po is quite young to pass the torch and atleast they he should have a big moment before he could agree on doing it. They took about 9 years to make this movie and still felt rushed.

I THINK THE BIGGEST ISSUE WITH MOVIE WAS ITS LENGHT. They could have give more screen time to all the important characters.
