So when I first started watching this, my knee-jerk reaction was this was going to be a cheap Black Mirror knock off (and to some extent that is true). Obviously it's not as good as Black Mirror so if you go into it with that expectation, you will certainly be disappointed.
Having said that, I did enjoy that each story lead to the next and found myself wanting more. I was very happy with the ending (which seems to be rare these days) but it is called "9 Films About Technology" so my expectations for more episodes are low.
I have to give a shout out to the actress who played the mother in the only 2-part episode in the series. *Chef's kiss* well done!
Each episode is only 10-12 minutes so it's not a huge time commitment. I'm seeing very polarized reviews but I seriously don't see how anyone could not like it (unless they gave up early in the series).

Before I say anything else about the show, I have to address what I have read from other reviews. Firstly, it's not the best show of all time as some have proclaimed. It's better than average. Rami Malik delivers a lackluster performance (as usual) but it was probably the best I've seen Christian Slater in a while. It's the side characters that really bring you in to the story and shine (although some of them felt completely unnecessary).
To everyone that says that this is an accurate portrayal of hacking...yeah maybe if hacking hadn't changed since the early 2000s. I do feel like this was targeted for those who understood hacking in the late 90's-early 2000s, only modernized for current tech/software and they often don't get it right. The soundtrack seems fairly representative of this as well so it may be a nod to that generation.
The big S04EpX that everyone raved about being incredible just made me angry. I half saw it coming but was really hoping it would go in another direction. It just felt like lazy writing to me and I felt like the story had better options, but that's just me. Other than the final episodes of the series, where you reach the big reveals and turning points, I thought it was really well-crafted.
Overall, I was really sucked in until the end and then I felt like I wasted too much time in a series that ultimately left me disappointed with an half predictable and half lazy/nonsensical and unsatisfying ending.
