The Recruit is one of netflix's best work. Owen's role is believable and complex. Max is dark and yet vulnerable...... in that assassin with no heart kind of way. Hannah and Terrance as the ever loving and supporting friends/ housemates is fun and twisted at the same time.
The character development is amazing. Falling in love with every single.one of them is so easy. Salazar as the love interest is phenomenal. This brings me to the casting of this show. An absolute A plus. When great writing meets great casting meets great acting you know you are in for a treat.
Last but not least the theme soundtrack is amazing and pulls the audience in even more. Topped off with amazing camera and production value.
That netflix cancelled this show is a travesty. Yes they have a large stable and no doubt is cost a pretty penny but to ditch something so captivating and intriguing seems like a bean counter made this decision and not someone that actually knows what is good for the brand.
Netflix is the lead in the streaming space. So frigging lead. Don't buckle at the first sign of misgivings. Fork the bean counters and continue to invest in great content. FYI this is great content. Idiots.

This is a dark piece of work. The lead nails the despondant, self hating yet brilliant detective. The rest of the cast have been cast brilliantly and the roles acted brilliantly. The story onfolds with just the right amount of flashbacks and character development. All, and I do mean all, is dirty, gritty and believable. This series is a credit to everyone involved in writing, acting and producing. I am left questioning how I approach my own life, my actions and misgivings. It was layered and thought provoking. I am.only on episode 6 so I imagine there is more goodness and darkness in store for me. I will attempt to add to this review in due course.
Simply amazing. Andor is, head and shoulders, above all of the other spin offs that disney has offered us. Well written, well acted, great casting, visually spectacular and the right amount of future retro tech. It is dark and deep yet scattered with enough moments of joy to keep us wanting more. The character developement, plots and sub plots make for a roller coaster of a story. It is truely a shame it is only 2 seasons. I hope that what ever in the pipeline for the future uses Andor as a measuring stick. A massive two thumbs up and a 9 out of 10. Please sir can I have some more. Disney.....may the force of reviews be with you.
