7.2/10
I really loved the colors and brightness of the movie-it gave Superman the hopeful and inspiring tone he deserves. The casting of Superman was spot on; he felt humane, lovable, and exactly the kind of hero you'd want to look to for protection. Lex Luthor brought a strong presence to the screen, and the fight scenes and cinematography were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the extended conversation between Lois and Superman, which added emotional depth and gave us a better understanding of who he is. One of the things I appreciated most was how the film emphasized Superman's identity as someone who isn't originally from Earth, yet still stands for truth, compassion, and justice across the world. His willingness to help people in other countries while still being portrayed as deserving of American humanity and acceptance was powerful and timely. There were a few moments that felt a bit too convenient, but overall, I'd rate the film a 7.2 out of 10. It was an enjoyable, visually striking movie with a lot of heart, and I'm excited to see how the DCU continues to grow from this strong starting point.

7.2/10
Visually, this film was a standout with stunning cinematography, impressive CGI, and a unique retro aesthetic that felt refreshingly different from the usual superhero fare. The story was fairly basic and the short runtime didn't allow enough depth to fully explore the villain's motivations. The casting was nearly perfect, with every actor bringing their character to life in a way that made you love the team not just as a whole but as individuals. Overall, I'd rate it a solid 7.2 out of 10. It's a fun, visually rich ride and I'm genuinely excited to see where the story goes next. The post-credit scene was a 9 out of 10, one of the most dramatic and thrilling I've seen in years.
