This film was very clearly paying homage and was heavily influenced by Clerk and Kevin Smith films. The dialogue from the characters where they are simply standing around where things are meant to be deep, insightful and meaningful vastly are in similar tone to of Clerks. The problem is we don't necessarily care for the characters and the story is just generic and not interesting.

It's very clearly low budgeted and the acting isn't too bad but the story is just predictable and everything that turns out in the end is as expected. This film definitely feels like they were trying as an effort but it's just not interesting.

This film has the tone and atmosphere of a comedy film where at times felt more so of a parody. Nothing about it was serious where it was entirely lacking and felted entirely forced. The humor from the characters simply wasn't funny age more so irritating.

The plot is very simple and we are left with an unhappy ending. The only positives are the scenery of the outside views and the camera work. Otherwise, this isn't a film which provides any action, any suspense or thrills or any real comedy. Perhaps an acquired taste but certainly missed the mark.

Relatively ok knowledge of this film but seeing as it was described as a horror slasher paying homage to roughly 1980's films, expectations were of moderate.

There are plenty of these type of myth stories of monsters or creatures killing innocent friends while camping in the woods or staying at a remote area.

This film is about a man sporting a butcher pig mask who had a tough upbringing and deciding on killing innocent people for the sake of it.

There are the main three friends who are making a film documentary with four other people tagged along, staying in the same house.

The kills are solid ranging from quite graphic to lesser. The twist is very predictable as we knew it from the start. For a lengthy and rather slower paced film, there is enough to enjoy but it's nothing special.
