The first thing that caught my attention is the persistent sound of a ticking clock in the background. It occurs during some scenes suggesting something bad is about to happen or maybe? Hurry up time is going by quickly. It's loud and intrusive, and just adds nothing to the story.
I like this movie a little and also dislike it at the same time.
It isn't quite about whether Hank is guilty, or about challenging or discrediting all the good that the #MeToo movement has achieved so far. It is also about the cancel culture that currently exists.
Julia Roberts does a good job as usual.
Further 'after the hunt' pushes us to be better, deeper thinkers and friends, mainly about philosophy that in this case is quite difficult to follow.
I just didn't like the academic pedantry disguised as philosophical complexity.
I don't think I am going to remember this one for long. And the title ..? I just don't get it.

The high rating of this series is baffling!
Maybe if you like jealousy, posh, rich villains, soap operas, and gossip, this is for you.
"The Girlfriend" is, at the end, a lot of trash. It's ugly glossy and not richly satisfying at all.
Not even Robin Wright performance saves this series, and I don't understand how this good actress is part of something like this; she even directed 3 episodes.
Nothing positive to add, even the music is terrible.

I liked this 6-episode miniseries; it goes by quickly and is quite intense and mysterious with disturbing crimes and moments of high tension.
The scene of the 'Tamborrada' is amazing and my favorite.
The idyllic setting in Cáceres-Extremedura, tragically hit hard by last summer's forest fires, is a welcome bonus. And the landscapes are simply breathtaking!
I would have liked if Clara's character had been developed more; it remains quite superficial.
And also the series finale must be a bit longer, perhaps with one more episode; it ends somewhat rushed. Although it also had some unexpected moments at the end.
This Spanish newcomer will undoubtedly be most enjoyable for viewers who can lose themselves in the mystery of Yesques And of course if you enjoy the legends of the forest combine with very dark crimes.
Enjoy the ride!
