I went into this show thinking it was a movie so was pretty thrown off from the start.
Corky comedy with some break out characters like the Rabbi's brother.
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody had good chemistry. Smart to release during the fall since were all watching Gilmore Girls right now and Adam Brody is on our brain. This is the 3rd feature I've seen him in a religious type character.
First 6 episodes had me hooked and the final four especially the last 2 were cringe. Not enough to make me not watch a second season but something felt more forced and was off...
Would recommend and look out for the little jokes.

I watched all 8 episodes and found them to have the same sentiment as the original movie but with a ton more depth. And also what I thought was better acting, Donald and Maya took every episode and put their full acting strength behind it to give each episode a familiar piece of life with some crazy action involved too. Some of the mid episodes definitely just felt like fillers and since we had the general plot going we didn't feel as we had to watch every second to get the gist. Now to the ending, DIDN'T LIKE, why with 8 full episodes would the series runners leave it on a cliffhanger... not appreciated and made me have mixed feelings toward the entire series. Boo.
Season one gave us a full scope of The Witcher's tale with background and then season two had more of a moving plot. I found season two to be one of the richest story lines in any series produced this year filled with fantastic acting and cinematography.
