"So yes, Disney! Honestly, I was surprised when I watched the movie because, given Disney's recent track record, anyone would be discouraged. But to everyone's surprise, it turned out to be a movie that SURPASSED the original in many aspects and is much more complete than the original. I love that they continue to develop Judy and Nick's relationship, as they have a good working dynamic because while Judy tends to be more impulsive, Nick is more concerned with security. The relationship continues to develop very well and makes these two protagonists more human.
The movie touches on themes like discrimination and prejudice in a very similar way to the original, but I think in this movie they focus more on the fact that no matter how many good deeds you've done, many people won't change their perception of you. This theme is handled very well in the movie because they show that Judy and Nick, being so different from each other and being a novice couple, aren't going to convince everyone that they're good cops, even if they've done great feats in the past.
As for the animation and music, I have no complaints because everyone still looks incredible with that palette of vibrant colors and those contrasts. The humor is very good since they show that fart jokes aren't necessary to make people laugh, and the secondary cast is incredible because they give each animal a really funny characteristic and use them for the jokes.
The villains are a threat from the beginning of the movie, not like in the previous one, and although there's a plot twist at the end, it's a different plot twist from the previous movie because the villain does bad things and creates obstacles for the protagonists.
The fan service is very present but in a very organic way for the jokes. As the only negative point, the snake and beaver characters have little development and although they're important for the plot, they quickly take a backseat.
This movie reminds me a lot of some movies like Shrek 2 or The Bad Guys, since instead of regressing the characters and doing the same plot as the original movie, they bet on continuing to develop their characters in an organic way."

"Elio's movie is by far one of the worst Pixar movies for me. The story revolves around Elio, an incredibly annoying and ungrateful kid whose love for aliens is never explained. Then, after intercepting NASA communications to find aliens, he's abducted and mistaken for the leader of Earth. The main problem with the movie is obviously its childish and fantastical approach, because even though Pixar includes a lot of fantasy in their stories, at least they make sense. Another big problem is how superficial it is and the incredibly lack of personality in the characters, except for Elio - literally, the characters are so unhumanized and childish that they're really boring. The villain is, in my opinion, the worst in Pixar - they literally do nothing and their motives are nonsense that don't even make sense. If I had to highlight something good, it's the world-building, because they can say whatever they want about it, but at least I have to give them credit for being creative and having good visual designs. The lesson is delivered a bit forcedly, but at least it's understandable what they were trying to explain. For me, this is one of Pixar's biggest disappointments in recent years, but the good thing about hitting rock bottom is that it can only go up."
"The movie is the last 2D Disney film and it shows. The animation is fabulous, and the protagonists are fantastic. Tiana is an incredible protagonist, she's hardworking and charismatic, and she has to learn that not everything is about work. The prince is the opposite, which is why I think they make a great duo. The relationship, although clichéd, feels genuine when it comes to love. The downside falls mainly on the script. Although the premise is interesting and entertaining from the start, the script doesn't know what to do with it, which is why there are about 40 minutes in the movie where nothing interesting happens for the plot, and the script doesn't know how to continue the story. The secondary characters are annoying and contribute little to the plot, except for some easy laughs. In general, if those problems were solved, the movie could have been better, but overall it's a good movie"
