Millionaire is one of the most wonderful documentaries I've seen in a long time. What makes it truly special is that the people on screen are not professional actors, but real farmers and family members telling and reliving their own story. That gives the film a raw honesty and authenticity that you rarely find in cinema. You can feel their emotions in every gesture -the joy, the frustration, the humor, and the pain- and it makes the whole experience incredibly powerful.
I loved how the film shows not just the drama of losing a winning lottery ticket, but also the everyday life of a humble family from the Chilean countryside, with all its struggles, traditions, and dreams. It's impossible not to connect with them and to reflect on the bigger question the movie asks: can money really change people?
This is a film that goes beyond entertainment. It stays with you, it makes you think, and it makes you feel close to people and places you may have never known. Honest, moving, and unforgettable.
