In 1961, he co-starred in re-working of a 1960 pilot for a comedy TV series. This version, called "Harry's Business" had Elena Verdugo playing a Midwestern country girl who had difficulty adjusting to life in San Francisco.
His first movie role was PVT. Cumberly in the film "Hell is For
Heroes". He got to work with stars such as Steve Mcqueen, Fess Parker,
and Bobby Darin.
