- Met Siegfried Fischbacher on a German ocean liner when they both found work around 1959. The two comprised the famous stage magic duo "Siegfried & Roy", working in Las Vegas from 1967 until retiring in 2010.

The tiger lunged and bit him on the neck and dragged him offstage, causing massive bleeding. Although Horn had told the crowd it was the tiger's first performance, the animal had been performing for years.
