Saycon Sengbloh co-starred in FELA! the first play on Broadway to feature the music of Afro-Beat legend Fela Kuti. FELA! was nominated for 11 Tony Awards and later premiered in its entirety in Nigeria, West Africa. Welcomed by the children of Fela Kuti: Saycon also performed along with the Broadway cast of FELA! in the New Afrika Shrine nightclub in Lagos, Nigeria.
