The Company Men (2010)] One of the great things and one of the horrible things about the American character is this extraordinary optimism and arrogance that everything will continue to be great and keep looking up. People were living much closer to the edge than they had any right to be living. A large part of what the film is about is: Do we really need all these things and what is important in our lives? What are the values and what is it that you end up really caring about?
