We have inherent value without earning that value by "doing." And we are here for a reason, with a purpose to uncover, and the journey is to find it and live it. But our worth remains intact whether we find it or not, whether we do it or not. Life is just exponentially richer if we do. However you want to interpret it (spiritually or not), it is our Creator who endows us with value; and nobody on this planet, no matter how powerful, can take it from us.
