He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "The Winter's Tale," at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, England with Sean Baker, Barbara Marten, Claire Hackett, Ellie Haddington, Adrian Lester, Myra McFadyen, and Michael Turner in the cast. Phyllida Lloyd was director.
He was critically injured after being knocked off his bike in a road accident in February 2002 as he was returning home from rehearsals at the Bush Theatre, London for Richard Cameron's "The Glee Club". He died as a result of his injuries some two years later and was survived by his two children.
