Her many theatre credits include: "A Day in the Death of Joe Egg" and "Forget-me-not-lane" (both Swan Theatre, Worcester), "A Winter's Tale" (Royal Exchange, Manchester and world tour), "Bedroom Farce" (Queens Theatre, Hornchurch)
An original Tiller Girl, during the Second World War whilst serving
with ENSA, she contracted tuberculosis. She had an operation to remove
a lung and she was forced to give up her dancing career.
