I think whenever a relationship comes to an end, it's natural to feel many emotions - such as being heartbroken, lonely and hurt. Whatever you are feeling, you shouldn't put your life on hold. You shouldn't spend the next couple of months moping around or begging for that person to come back. There was a reason things turned out the way they did and as hard as it may be, you have to learn to accept it. Holding on only causes more pain. You are only punishing yourself. It's important now to get your independence back, to do activities you love and to surround yourself in good company. You will love again, never lose hope on that. But the most important person you should love is yourself.
