Alone in the Universe

So the director/male lead of this film was a teacher at a film school I went to. Complete joke, the video quality is acceptable at best. The sound is horrendous and I can't help but feel he writes himself into the love interest roles for all his movies.

A love story featuring very real, flawed human characters, some humor and fun, and a lot of faith that things will turn out well. A realistic romance where everyone pretty much keeps their clothes on. One of the main characters, Oscar (Joshua Courtade), is so believable as a severe introvert that it comes as a surprise to find out that Courtade wrote, directed, and produced the film. Opposites attract and Dana Blackstone plays Petra, an almost hyperactive extrovert, who accepts and bonds with Oscar. An award-winning cast of other characters, including April (Kaitlyn Squires) and Clark (Evan Koons) adds depth, dimensionality, and neuroses to the main storyline. A very good movie with excellent acting. Very highly recommended.
