The last shots of the drama in the house of the protagonist's parents, built in the century before last with servants in an archaic form, carry the director's bitter message to the audience. The old family order, in which even for adult children there are no other concepts than "must" and "must", is being replaced by a new one, based on mutual respect, goodwill and the dictates of the heart; And the parents, clinging to the old, are left with only loneliness and heartache.
