Armero

This movie didn't really focus on the actual tragedy but more on the live of a young couple who are trying to have a child. I guess this was the director's way of showing us the way people lived in the actual Armero.

The special effects are not bad but you can actually notice they're special effects. The disaster scenes look like something from a video game or a 3D animation. This really affects the movie since the whole movie is about the disaster. But of course they were some special effects that were good like for example the smoke coming out of el Nevado del Ruìz.

I don't actually recommend this movie if you want to know more about the Armero tragedy, since it's not that accurate. I would recommend just watching a documentary, but the movie is alright.
