Return to Camp Beaver Lake

Just when you thought the nudist camp comedy was a dead genre comes this lightweight bit ol whimsy from filmmaker Stuart Canterbury.

Simpleminded premise has Ron Jeremy in trouble from a crank complaint against his innocuous nudist camp, with the local sheriff giving him 30 days notice before he's poised to shut it down. In a plot ploy that has become dated long ago, the Japanese are potential buyers, repped by realtor Randy Spears, but Ron needs to put the kibosh on the customers' nudity to appear respectable for the deal to go through. (GIven that the Japanese economy tanked decades ago, no one's accused them of buying up America (like the Chinese and Saudis do) anymore.

This camp differs from those depicted so often in movies of the '50s and '60s in that the customers are not just health nuts but like to have sex all the time. Good news is that Ron is not a turn-off here, whether humping or cracking jokes.
