The original game is not bad but the sega master system version is really low expectations, we have a poor soundtrack in total there are 7 since even the menu is heard in the third world and even in the final world, and here you will be forced to collect 100 objects to leave a level, also that did not happen in the original versions. Although the positive is that it over-exploits the power of the master system a lot and at least it goes smoothly not like sonic chaos. Obviously the game boy version is a thousand times but the master system version so the version I recommend the most is the friend version.

Zool at one point was meant to be a brand mascot, Amiga's answer to Super Mario/Sonic the Hedgehog. Sadly it went more in the direction of Bubsy the Bobcat.

A shiny colorful platforming game where you play an intergalactic gremlin traversing themed worlds it never exactly set the world on fire despite becoming a bit of a cult classic in the eyes of many.

It looked great for its age, it played smoothly, but beyond that it really had nothing to help it stand out from the crowd. Especially since it was released at a time where platformers made up the majority of video games.

Making your little ninja looking friend fire balls of.....something!? at slime enemies while traveling around a candyland themed level never exactly gripped me.

So Zool never reached the heights it was aiming at, but around the same time there was considerably worse out there.

One of those forgotten characters from times gone by.
