फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
This was the second of TV Lands awards shows. This year they seemed better prepared. There was the Andy Griffith show reunion, and the Gilligan's Island and Mary Tyler Moore reunion. The Sex and The City spoof was not as funny as Living With Arnold Jackson from the year before. Some of the awards were repeats like best supper hero and best dual role character. It was also nice that they did a tribute to John Ritter. It was not seeing the cast of a lot of the shows. TV Land aired a bit to many times after it aired the first time. They should just put it on DVD, but over all they are on the right track to having better awards shows every year. They kept with the theme song opening as they did on the first TV Land awards and they had Max Baer and Donna Douglas but that's all they were in they should have presented and award together.
Oh, another awards show?! Well, in this case, we get to see individuals whom we rarely get to see. I had only started watching TV Land less than a year before this, and really gotten into some of the shows. It was probably the last time that we would get to see the "Gilligan's Island" cast together before Bob Denver died. One thing that I learned about from "The Second Annual TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV" was the existence of "That Girl"; I'd literally never heard of it before then. I was also surprised that John Ritter had hosted the ceremony the previous year a few months before passing away.
Oh well. Life goes on. Dick Van Dyke and Andy Griffith look good letting themselves age, while Mary Tyler Moore shouldn't have gotten that face-lift. I guess that I agree with the choices.
Oh, and if I may say so, Tina Louise and Barbara Eden are still really hot after all these years!

At this, Lynda went backstage and spun in a circle, with a Wonder Woman double suddenly appearing in her place. This event was the first and only time she had done it since the cancellation of her television series in 1979. No other actress ever stepped into the role until film director Zack Snyder hired Gal Gadot for the production of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) on December 4, 2013.

Lynda Carter: Wow, I had a lot of competition... Girl Power! I want to thank TV Land first of all, and of course the fans... who voted for me! I was... I am very surprised, so thank you to the fans in particular. You know, "Wonder Woman" really changed my life; I played a superhero but in truth there are super heroes that are out there fighting fires and being policemen for us, and fighting in wars whether we agree with them or not! I've got the greatest guy in the world, we live in Washington DC now, and the two most interesting people that I know... I thank them from the bottom of my heart for putting up as "Wonder Woman" as a mother, Jessica and James. Again, I'm really honored to be thought of in this way tonight, I thank you so much.
