फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Amusing and silly continental Western produced by Luc Besson and filmed in Mexico , with two top-flight actresses .Funny and enjoyable film with noisy action , struggles, shootouts , amusement and entertainment . It's a slapstick comedy where two gorgeous women fight for a vendetta. Goofy and entertaining tongue-in-cheek European Western about two female outlaws go in action to execute a relentless vengeance . Set in 1848 , New York bank wants to put a railroad across Mexico, so it buys up small banks around Santa Rita, Durango, and evicts country people on the proposed rail line carried out a nasty enforcer against those who owe money . Then two very different sexpot women , the European-educated , daughter of a banker , named Sara (Salma Hayek showing cleavage) and the farmer Maria (Penelopé Cruz) become a bank-robbing duo in an effort to combat a ruthless killer executioner caller Tyler Jackson (Dwight Yoakam) who runs afoul after them , while terrorizing poor villagers and then the two rebel girls are wanted...alive or dead . As Sara and Maria robbing banks and then riding off with the loot, being accompanied by a bumbling fool (Steve Zahn) and become the new Robin Hoods in the West .No man can come between them! Wanted...alive or dead .Being Bad never looked so Good! .Definitely wanted.
An European Western Featuring Two Beautiful Actresses as bank robbers , they're both international sex symbols and buxom beauties .The picture displays crazy characters with silly plot and some amusing moments here and there . It is a muddle but acceptable French/Mexican co-production Western with an appropriately goofy tone , it has has action, fun , brawls , light-weight comedy , crossfire and surprise-filled entertainment . Interesting to note is that plays like a male sex fantasy of female supremacy . The all the men in the movie are idiot , perennially horny and incompetent buffoons . The women are sassy , bossing the men around and outsmarting them at every turn , while they carry out philantropic action to feed the now landless people . Both of whom form a sympathetic and agreeable couple , María, the strong but innocent and uneducated daughter of a farmer , while vixen Salma Hayek as a brave and impulsive girl who'll stop at nothing to get her purports . Both Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz have the goofy men wrapped around their finger . You can guess the conclusion from sheer arithmetics alone and the movie is pretty good from a technical standpoint, but eurowestern fans will have a ball seeing two of the most beautiful women ever to grace the silver screen. The picture packs an attractive female duo , funny gun-play along with fist-fight very much in the style of two Continental Westerns : ¨Legend of Frenchie King¨or ¨Les Petroleuses¨ by Christian Jaque played by B. B and C. C : Brigitte Bardot , Claudia Cardinale and ¨Viva Maria¨ by Louis Malle with Jeanne Moreau and Bardot . On the flip side, however, as a Western this film didn't quite have the same quality as many others in the genre and a major reason could be the fact that it was intended more for European audiences and specifically , the French public . In any case , while it wasn't a bad movie for the most part , I thought it should have been much better and that's why I have rated it accordingly . It does eventually outstay its welcome , and there are a surprising amount of ridiculous confrontation , shoot'em up, fights and laughters . It certainly has an enthusiastic cast , as Steve Zahn who steals the show with his gestures , faces and excesses as a bungler , stupid investigator and there appears ordinary secondary actors , such as : Dwight Yoakam as the murdeous pursuer , Denis Arndt as a wealthy banker , Sam Shepard as their experienced instructor and Mexican actors as 'East' Carlo , Carlos Cervantes , among others .
The motion picture was well directed by Joachin Rønning and Espen Sandberg , both of whom are friends from childhood , and they began directing professionally shorts . Known for making films about famous Norwegian historical figures, like Thor Heyerdahl and Max Manus. And other films together or separated , such as : Maleficent , Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales , Doomsday , Amundsen , Marco Polo series , among others . Rating : 6/10. Decent , acceptable Western especially appointed to Penelopé Cruz and Salma Hayek fans .

I have seen this movie today and i must say it cheered my day.It was funny(many laugh out loud moments), the action was very very good for its genre (Western), a good plot to go by and it accomplishes to give you that old Western feeling.Penelope and Salma were magnificent and a perfect on-screen couple. For what it is (Action Western),it deserves an applause...I don't know why some people didn't like it, Considering it is PG-13, Genre Action Western Comedy (and not a drama or social movie that goes for an Oscar) it's top in its genre. It's got what it promises and even more.It is a very fun movie and unlike what another poster said , it does deserve the money to buy a ticket and go see it.
Bandidas is a conventional, predictable cinematic product and yet, it manages to be a laughing out loud experience and a great time at the movie theater.
The story of the two opposite mexicanas played by Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz kicks off when both meet personal tragedy and seek for revenge (first, for themselves and them for the whole people of Mexico).
Hayek and Cruz are great to watch as the film highlights their comedian and physical talents quite well.
Technical work on the film is also top notch and Steve Zahn/Sam Shepard's supporting roles bring both masculinity and humor to this laugh-fest.
Overall, this movie will not win any Oscars but it will definitely win the heart of the audiences.

"Bandidas" is set during the Mexican Revolution
Cruz stars as María Alvarez, a gun-happy superstitious peasant who learns that her land has been sold to Tyler Jackson (Dwight Yoakam) by a corrupt Mexican banker Don Diego Sandoval (Ismael 'East' Carlo) until some higher authority intercedes
María always knew what she wants and she always knew she feels, however when she dared to accuse Don Carlos as a corrupt and a thief, as a result of that her father is wounded in his ranch and his house is burned to the ground
Sara Sandoval (Salma Hayek), who has been away at school in Europe for ten years, has left as a girl and came home as a woman The only problem of Don Diego is now to convince her to stay But Sandoval is poisoned following a real estate agreement with the avaricious Jackson
So the two girlsjoined by destinydecide to be trained by Sam Shepard, to shoot well and to learn the rules of robbing banks So they teamed up to get the people back on their land, and to come up with a plan, something that will benefit the people and destroy these murderers
But after Quentin Cooke (Steve Zahn) an expert from New York City is kidnapped by the two she-monsters, the ruthless Jackson brought in more reinforcements, real killers hunting the two girls like animals So every bank was seen more guarded now Sara saw herself desperate, running out of ideas Inside of herself she knew that she was raised to be a spoiled lady, not a renegade
Penélope and Salma have great chemistry, and they are totally adorable together The film has many memorable moments: the church catfight; the horse climbing a ladder; the two beauties in prostitute red cloth; Hayek getting off her chest her bloody corset which has been squeezing her gut her whole life; Salma teaching Penélope how to kiss a man right and how to capture that nuance

Two insanely beautiful Mexican women decide to exact revenge on some pistoleros, hired guns for a U.S. banking concern, who shot each of their respective dads. One is a spoiled rich girl, the other a poor girl, and these two unlikely allies unite forces. They meet some guy who trains them how to shoot, and the fearsome Bandidas are born, free to plunder the Mexican desert in sexy outfits and chase the bad guys. They set out to even the score by robbing banks.
Does the premise make sense? Of course not. It's just a convenient set up of odd circumstances so Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz can do a Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid send up, except with high heels and thick Spanish accents. They trade barbs pretty humorously, and make a good screen comedy team. The action is fun, and of course, way over the top. The expert of the new science of forensics (this is set about a century ago) is the luckiest guy in the old west; he gets to kiss both of them.
Campy slapstick fun. The whole cast has a good time, and makes the satirical and playful mood amusing. Good brainless popcorn entertainment.

- ट्रिवियाThe scene were Steve Zahn is lying naked on the bed with Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek was shot over three days. The actors found it very difficult not to laugh while filming it.
- गूफ़When Quentin and Maria are robbing the bank dressed as newly weds, the bank manager faints in front of the vault... but in the next shots (while Quentin is opening the vault, when he opens it, or when they blow the roof) he is nowhere on the floor, or in the room.

Quentin Cooke: Hola. Are you Padre Pablo?
Padre Pablo: Yes.
Quentin Cooke: May I come in?
Padre Pablo: No.
Quentin Cooke: I thought the house of God was open to all people at all times.
Padre Pablo: It is. But God is not at home right now. He is down the road at the orphanage.
