Nasty

The horror movie intro, the pre-house scenes involving Death and all the banter in the cemetery are great.

When the focus moves inside the house for the flashback scenes, dialogue between all characters is consistently funny. The concept of video nasties is a great subject to be satirised by the boys in their typical, indomitable, crazy style. I like the running joke of Mike and Vyv with the video player, plus all of Vyv's violent outbursts. Rik Mayall is hilarious in pretty much every scene, whether it be delivering lines, facial expressions or general body language.

I like the guest characters played by Terry Jones and (in particular) Alexi Sayle who both make great contributions. Likewise, The Damned perform an enjoyable song in the interlude.

For me it's an 8.5/10, but I round up.
