I also watched the pilot as well as the second episode and completely disagree. How can you say this show isn't funny? It's about time TV shows were funny again. There are only so many Back to You's and Until Death's we can take. If you don't find this show funny, you might want to check your sense of humor meter. It's probably you.
I actually thought the second episode was slightly funnier than the first. The cast seems to be having a great time and it really shows. Reminds a lot of Seinfeld, but has it's own identity. I love how it goes for the humor, but keeps the characters grounded. Rashida Jones is the next big star and Craig Bierko is a solid leading man. The other two actors seem like a couple of sleepers. I bet this show has a long, long run. At least I hope it does.

I just watched the first episode of this show on Itunes and I have to say that although there is a bit more storyline than jokes, this show is HILARIOUS. The characters are far more mature than what is seen in typical Farelly brothers comedy, which actually makes the show far more appealing. I think that this first show played it safe as far as "edginess", and given the context of what this show's subject matter portrays, you can expect a lot more from this show in the coming weeks. I can't say this show will have a serious future like Friends or Seinfeld, but I can definitely see this show going for a while. I mean seriously, who hasn't secretly snickered at something COMPLETELY childish *ahem dumb and dumber*? It's a great comedy for the child in adults and I think it will definitely do well. Definitely can't wait to see more!
What is it about the Farrelly brothers that people enjoy? No matter what they make, I just can't find any decent entertainment out of it. The jokes suck, the humor is almost non-existent, and the whole experience is tedious and painful.
And, that about sums up Fox's latest supposed sitcom.
What equates to an unfunny "Seinfeld" knock-off, this show tries to be edgy and funny and fails on both counts about 98% of the time. When you don't even find yourself smiling (much less laughing) at a sitcom, then something is wrong with the show.
To quickly sum up this mess, four single friends (on of them recently divorced) jump back into the dating circuit, with supposed hilarity ensuing. But, if things like worn out sex jokes and "kid in the helmet" jokes are the best these writers can do, then this show is in desperate need of help.
Honestly, there are much better things you can do with your Sunday night. Slamming your head against a brick wall comes to mind.
In closing, this show just sucks. There is no other way to really say it.

Unhitched is one of the worst new shows I've seen in a long time. It is less funny than staring at your TV for half an hour when it is turned off. All of the jokes are groan-inducing they are so bad and none of the characters are funny or likable or interesting in any way whatsoever. The writing is so bad it passes through the realm of "so bad it's funny" to become one of the few shows that can be classified as "so completely awful it's not even funny to laugh at".
I can't think of a single reason why a show this completely awful in every possible respect could make it to broadcast. I am used to seeing a lot of garbage on TV but when something like this comes on my TV, that is so pathetically awful it's just begging to be canceled and put out of its misery, I just shake my head and say "why?" and wonder who it is that's going to inevitably be fired for this obvious mistake.
Cancel the show, burn the tapes, and let's all never speak of it again.

Q: What do you get when you get a collection of reasonably talented individuals, a reasonably good premise and a bloody awful script...
A: Garbage... complete trash.
This isn't the fault of the actors all of whom have been good in other things...
No the blame for this atrocity falls squarely on the shoulders of the writers. Crude jokes, unimaginative characters, and absolutely no sense of what is actually funny vs. what is just stupid.
I feel most sorry for Shaun Majumdar (a fellow Canadian) who was saddled needlessly with an Indian accent and cast as the token stereotype.
The good news is that even Fox won't air this trash for long... if it weren't for the writers strike I doubt it would have ever seen the light of day.
