The Stairs

This was actually better than I expected. At most it is original, which is a big thing nowadays. The acting is ok, as is the production. A decent enough horror film with a few issues.

I just wanna know who carved the big Sasquatch in the store scene. Best part of the movie. Of course I'm biased as I'm a professional woodcarver but whatever.

This movie was all over the place. The monster was quite comical though. Throwback to decades ago. Terrible acting, choppy plot. Didn't know if it was horror, sci-fi, supernatural or what. Save your money please.

I just saw this, went into it expected nothing and was still disappointed. There are two scenes with the stairs and they are both irrelevant. You can literally cut the stairs out of The Stairs movie and it would be the same movie. The guys were cute though so 2/10.

While this film has an interesting premise, and a good marketing and licensing budget...

WHO thought the color grading was ready for release?

On an HDR UHD television this is completely washed out! If they had reduced the brightness and kept the contrast they would have a more visually interesting film! I don't understand the obsession some filmmakers have with either increased frame rates or washed out bright colors or both! I want movies to look like professionally produced movies on film, not cheap television video! Not cheaply produced daytime soaps!

This film had potential but it was totally washed out colorwise!
