Channeru wa sono mama!

Japanese tv is basically the last remaining bastion of tv shows that are not obsessed with romance or political correctness Yukimaru is someone that anyone can relate to but also someone who sports exceptional optimism and teamwork. At the same time she is a huge bungler doing many things wrong. But because she is so honest and hard working, she always seems to win the day. Only the Japanese could make a comedy show about the running on a news TV station really interesting and it is because of a feeling generated that makes you care for all the characters especially Yukimaru. It is quite evocative of "Sunset on third street" despite being set in a very different time and place. I laughed out loud a lot with some utterly hilarious moments. The subs are quite good and give non Japanese speakers the chance to understand the jokes well. Overall I loved this show

A kooky girl is employed by a tv station as a trainee, what confuses her fellow internees is how somebody so dumb could get a job alongside them. Over time though they come to appreciate her big heart and upbeat approach to life which win them over and also all the people she interacts with. A short lighthearted series which also gives insight into the workings of a tv station. It is based on a manga and well acted with a particular mention to Kyoko Yoshine who captures your heart as the ditzy trainee Hanako.

It's a very charming drama with some emotional beats at the end. Honestly, while some of the situations that the crew are put in seem very silly I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. All in all it was adorable and the first season is only 5 episodes, so it won't take too much of your time.

I'm glad I decided to watch this through the end, despite mixed feelings about the first episode. But the lead actress is so charismatic and fun to watch, that kept me going. After lots of light comedy, the last episode turned out to be surprisingly moving, making the whole series a very positive experience.

Stay tuned! is really masterpiece which I can recommend to everybody who likes good acting and goos script. Same time very funny and touching! World needs more this kind of tv-series. You really can see that the actors had fun making this! I cant get enough of this treasure
