You immediately have empathy for the main character, David. He was all of us back in high school. I'm a product of the 80's and these kiddos nailed it. GET REAL is a fun and heart-felt story about crushes and family.

I can't wait to see what this talented film crew comes up with in their adult-lives. The future is BROGHT.

This film is one of the most impressive student films I've ever seen. It could easily be mistaken for a low-budget studio film - the director clearly made the most of her resources. The characters are well-developed and the actors are expressive and make you feel genuine emotion. The lead performed particularly well. To remain vague, the last fifteen minutes are intense and amazing and are certainly worth watching the film for if for no other reason. I can't wait to see what the actors and crew behind this film go on to do as they get older. Darby Christensen and Peter King are names to follow, among the rest of the amazing cast and crew who brought this story to life.
