A Psychological Torture series brought to you by TLC, sMothered, features mother daughter duos who need Christ and therapy. When the dad told the mom and daughter that they look like ghetto mermaids, we chuckled.

These daughters need to live their own life and their mothers need to leave them alone and let them be. How will they grow up and how will they learn from their mistakes and experiences. Girls live with out your moms directory she's living thru you. And you need to stop it. You deserve to live your own life in a way you see fit not your mom's way. Live where you want live to your fullest life and be happy. As long as you live under your mom's life you'll never have a life of your own and no man wants their mother-in-law in their marriage. I wish you all the best and hope you wake up before you lose everything.

This was like a train wreck that you can't help but be curious about and can't turn your head away from. I power watched these episodes from my sick bed and while most of the mother/daughter relationships were over the top, HOWEVER the Sumgie or whatever woman was unbelievable!!! She has to be the most selfish person I have ever seen on reality TV by FAR! She truly did not care about what made her child happy, only what was best for her. It was so shocking to watch I simply couldn't turn away. I kept hoping for a change in this woman but as time went on it simply got worse. Her child felt the need for approval so much that witnessing her put her mother's demands above her own happiness was painful. That woman needs to be ashamed of herself and her cruel intentions because no mother would put her own wants and needs above that of her child's. Astonishing how evil this woman is and I hope now the cameras are gone that her daughter is brave and strong enough to realize this. Horrible show but what kept my interest was the insanity of many of these mothers and the disbelief that there are really women out there like this.

The only thing this program will show is how the borderline personality disorder and the narcissistic disorder will total decimate a child. These mothers (and I us that word very loosely) will consume every aspect of there children's lives from birth. These children will be total consumed, and as a results have no sense of self, and no self esteem. These mothers will feed on there children like insatiable monster to acquire as much fuel as possible at the expense of there own children's sanity and well being. They will always have difficulty navigating through there lives. The stupid and emotionally numb enabling fathers are as much to blame as the mothers. They well stand behind and support every destructive behavior the narcissist will do. The narcissist has to empathy, and I am quit sure all the people involved in this program lack it as well.

I honestly feel that these mothers on this show never had playmates growing up or Barbie dolls. This is repulsive. And the parent with her daughter who gives her JJ a facial when I saw that I literally turned the show off. This is taking it too damn far this is sickening, the mother who has the daughter and the beauty pageant needs to stop living her dreams through her daughter and move on my God let that girl live her life the way she should be living it. This show is sickening anymore and from what I've seen is not getting any better. I doubt the ratings will keep up with us. This is disgusting and nauseating .
