Upon seeing a promo for the Doritos Crash the Superbowl contest online, George, Hannah, Grace, Michael, and Owen Johnson asked their parents, George & Karen, if they could submit a commercial. With only one week until the deadline, they agreed to produce a spot together as a school project. All of the kids were involved in the planning, writing, and production process, and, of course, acted in the final commercial.
