Definitely one of his best films

Justin has shown this all over the country now. Ohio uses Fireland in its inspector trainings. Family members now have something tangible to prove that this incident was not forgotten. Fireland didn't win Justin any awards - though he did win an Individual Artist's grant from the Ohio Arts Council with his proposal for almost $10,000 of matching funds - because the film is...bleak. Stark. Black and white. Interviews are candid, still images are not censored in any way. This event was remembered by the community - but remembered isn't even strong enough. They held onto it, kept the history alive - until Justin came to help them tell their story. This film will hopefully save lives as it is used throughout the inspecting and training process. That's exciting, isn't it?
