Predictable, adequately entertaining

Not a lot going on in this movie. The love interest story was pretty obvious from the start. You have your standard set of characters - under-confident girl, boyfriend, kooky brother, overlooked love interest, angry grandma, mandatory lesbian couple, suspicious home-wrecker, boring parents.

It's not boring, but never evokes a significant laugh - sad in a way, as I think it is supposed to be a comedy. There is a moderate pace to the story, things tick along, but I can't really recommend it unless you are out of options. This is the sort of movie that is perfect for a a long distance flight when you have seen everything else.

Brother's best friend? Sign me up!

The chemistry between the LI was not really there and the kissing was bad!

Although it was a cliché (as most romcoms are) I did enjoy it as a care free, feel good type of movie.

The brother's girlfriend? How did we not get closure on what the hell that was all about? I guess he likes them older since he needs someone to mommy him *cough, cough -manchild, cough*

I was on my toes about the mother, it could have gone both ways. I'm glad it went how it did, but I'm mostly happy that our leading lady embraced the change.

P. S how is a cheerleader not fit?? Like they have extreme cardio workouts and you mean to tell me she can't run a 10k?
