Nando Reis: Me Diga

The great Nando Reis took a break from Titãs at the time and released his first solo album, entitled "12 de Janeiro" (his birth date) and one of the singles that got a music video made for it was "Me Diga". It's a quite reflective experience that has an interesting visual appeal as his descriptions from the song appear through a series of characters and small situations.

As Nando reflects about his life, past memories and what makes of what he is in the present, he's seated at the back of a convertible car, playing his guitar. As the vehicle drives down the road, he sees his father, his own children, and other scenarios and situations, all caputired through fast cuts, different color palettes, almost in a "Natural Born Killers" (all released in the same year). It's the poetry of its images aligned with the lyrics that makes of "Me Diga" one of Nando's most interesting videos, alongside the ones he did for the album "A Letra A", his work post-Titãs. A very good music video. 8/10.
