Cute for children & families at any time although it can run very long, interminably so, on various free streaming platforms due to MANY frequent 5 to 7 minute long commercials. On a positive note the many commercials provide necessary short breaks.

I generally enjoy this type of entertainment but found this far too saccharine and simplistic although I can't deny the appeal others may hold for it, particularly children.

No off color or crude humor, no iffy language, this show is perfect for any age & features a cute dog as its non-human hero.

The entire movie is slightly goof & offbeat and offers a limited cast playing multiple roles and a slightly predictable but good ending.

I really enjoyed this movie - it is one of the few Christmas movies I have seen that is really heartwarming. It features a very cute little dog, Officer Hansel, who tries to prevent the local package thief from ruining Christmas. I enjoyed the humor, the Christmas songs (which I think are original), the lavish and beautiful Christmas decorations, and the various characters in the story, whose interactions make this movie engaging and entertaining. Plus, it is fun to see the different roles that the two actors play. Even Hansel plays two roles! Merry Christmas Officer Hansel, my new favorite Christmas movie, is ideal for the whole family. :)

This movie is like a big hug. It's heart warming and really creative. I always enjoy a movie where an actor plays multiple roles and both of the leads in this did so very convincingly. Beyond that, the sheer creativity of the story line, dialogue, and other elements (I won't spoil the surprise) is really great. You may need to watch it more than once to catch all of the nuanced details - I did. Finally, the music will definitely become pleasantly lodged in your brain. This film is perfect for the whole family. You can add it to your annual holiday favorites! I enjoyed it so much that I sought out the website and purchased a t shirt.

A refreshingly different type of Christmas movie to kick off the holiday season that we are already wanting to watch again. Watched this with the kids and we all fell in love with the movie. A very sweet and clever film where multiple characters are played by the same actor yet I found myself being connected to the characters in different ways. The humor is quite sophisticated rather than slapstick and the kids (aged 8, 10 & 12) all picked up on the jokes. They were all engaged in the story (my 10 years old jumping up and down with excitement when the tension grew) and felt entertained throughout even though the film flowed with a gentle pace at times. The villain of the film is not terrifying yet quirky, engaging and believable. The style of movie making also leaves quite a bit to the imagination, showing no actual harm or danger which made it a very clean, wholesome family movie. Some of the tunes are still being sung around the house as after just one viewing the kids now have new Christmas songs stuck in their heads. The songs were as catchy as some of the one liners that were so well crafted I'm guessing I'll likely pick up more when we watch it again... which we'll probably do a few times this season. This film is a great example of really good, passionate independent film making.
