Reloaded

Tounas' Reloaded has heart and soul. A lot of movies have tried to do that premise, but they failed. Miserably. This is a modern day action film of the action genre.

The writing is also very good. Co-writer Arfanis, with Tounas as the head writer, with their editor Welch wrote some great dialogues. I see Arfanis has some experience on screenwriting, so maybe this is why. Tounas also has some other movies as well, but their dialogues are inferior compared to Reloaded. I watched his movies on YouTube, and I watched Reloaded on Amazon DE.

Despite the great writing, the acting and direction is average. The direction could be better. The actors are skilled, but they appear lazy and bored. I blame the lazy direction. It feels like a movie shot in a day.

Even though the lazy and sleepy actors, I love everyone in here, all the characters and the lead character. I love that the lead character chose to be alone and without help.

Don't stick to the preview, watch the movie. Reloaded is not an Oscar bait, but for sure it is a Decent Indy film.

The movie "Reloaded" is excellent. It's far superior to the majority of what's currently available on Netflix. The film was meant to be good, as it was directed by George Tounas and written by Tounas with co-writer Christos Arfanis. Those two guys have got their films screened at a number of film festivals despite their modest budget films. As a result, success was certain, and it was most likely sure to happen.

Every scene is merely a preparation for getting from one location to the next, thus the audience will not quickly become bored or confused, but instead focus on the action rather than the low budget. Kudos to the writers for that. The action is usually funny, with excellent choreography and tense martial arts clashes, which are exhibited with zeal when the fearsome protagonist (played by Tounas) kicks down the bad guys.

Tounas and Arfanis' "Reloaded" mostly succeeds in being inadvertently hilarious, which adds an unexpected layer of entertainment value that the filmmakers couldn't have anticipated when they intended to make an action picture.

I rent "Reloaded" on Amazon, but it should be available on Netflix.

Reloaded is a heady mix of half testosterone, half attitude, and all action that is pure popcorn enjoyment. Its performances and screenplay are admirably. Pay no attention to the plot...no one involved in the film does, anyway. Simply pay attention to the great dialogues by Toynas and Arfanis, the realistic characters and the modern direction of Toynas. The film is an action film, and this is how it should be taken. 9/10 because I wish it was longer.

"Reloaded" is an exciting independent action thriller with a modern crime story, great characters, good dialogues, good camera work, great art direction, good music and excellent editing. The actors and actresses almost always play first class. The movie is really good for the very low budget! Due to the budget there are some technical weaknesses, but that doesn't detract from the enjoyment. Unfortunately, it's also a bit short because of that.

"Reloaded" won some awards at various international film festivals, such as for "Best Actor" and "Best Poster", and was officially selected as "Best Film", etc. There was also a special cinema screening at CinemaxX.

PS: Don't read or listen to reviews from jealous people who want to make the movie seem extremely bad. Its overall rating here is not representative because it has been bombed by jealous haters with low ratings, mainly by one or more saboteurs from the UK or pretending to be from there.

It's a good made Popcorn Movie. Little Bit to short!
