Bookaneer

Wow, there's a lot happening in this animated short where a librarian discovers that the pen truly is mightier than the sword. The film introduces some fascinating characters: a sky buccaneer-an elvish figure with a hint of Peter Pan-and an ink monster that starts off looking a bit like Pikachu before morphing into another Pokémon-like creature.

Visually, it's done in a classic animation style, which I'm a big fan of. Interestingly, there's no dialogue at all, yet you barely notice its absence because the story is so easy to follow.
