Young Love

I am 23 years old and I find "Young Love" as a comfort show. I Love this animation. I look forward to each and every episode. "Young Love" is the show I have always wanted. This animation is funny, for the family, and for you. I am patiently waiting for season two because I have watched all the episodes. I will be rewatching season one and telling my friends and family about it. I will be reposting and advocating for more animations and shows similar to "Young Love". When I have kids one day I will be watching this animation with them but for now I will watch with my nieces and nephews. What an awesome show.

Feels refreshing for the 2020s. Reminds me of the quality content that used to be widly available on TV in the 2000s. Nice one!

I think it's great that a diverse range of hairstyles are shown and different shades of black people are included.

The series touches on relevant topics and the graphics look good - not surprising for Sony Animations who I feel have always made an effort to use sharp, modern animated graphics that include a wide range of diverse characters. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a good example of this.

If you're thinking of watching this, it's similar to Disney's The Proud Family (and Little Bill) with a gentle edge. Enjoyable for young children and families.

I really enjoyed the animated series. Each and every episode was a joy to watch. The cast is amazing. It was funny and charismatic. I remember the show from YouTube that developed this series and it was very good.

Once I heard they were coming out with this series I made sure I marked my calendar. I have been watching it on Max. The series deserves another season and if it get another season I look forward to what it has in store.

I was sad that I watched all the episodes. It was that good. This series deserves it recognition and more. I really like zuri she was funny in every episode. This is a really good series. I hope that it is not a long wait for another season.

I wanted to like this show but its just not a good show for children. Its written like a Proud Family meets The Boondocks. I got maybe 3 episodes in watching it with my daughter and it got so bad that I turned it off. It started with the constant cliche hip-hop references (The dad is a music producer). Im tired of seeing black characters as rappers but whatever. Then, I heard the word "ass" being used in an unnecessary situation. I thought to myself "wow did they really add that?". After that it just got worse...another unnecessary use of a word (hell), sexual innuendos between the parents, and a once I heard the rapper character joke about smoking weed I was done. Maybe im overreacting but as a parent that actually monitors what my 7 year old child consumes...I found this to be a disgraceful attempt of black children show. Its sad that the is the best the can give black people. To be honest, this is so bad that I looks up the writer and editor. The writer looks to be a black man, Matthew Cherry who just recently had in 2022. My brother, are you fine with your little one watching a child show where they curse and reference drugs (legal or not)? The editor is a caucasian guy who likely could care less. I expect better..

I thought I would check this show out as the cover art seemed interesting. The first episode immediately had me hooked. The relaxing and low-stimulating music/visuals/storyline coupled with good dialogue and deeply explored characters makes for the perfect show. I struggle with finding animated shows that don't feel super flashy or insanely overstimulating. I also enjoyed the characters and how they tackle some more complex issues in a lighthearted way. This is the perfect show to sit down and enjoy without feeling like it's too much or too little. I have yet to find another show like it so I hope they renew for a season 2.
