I honestly would've rated this 10/10 because I really enjoyed the movie..But the only thing that spoilt the experience was the ending, like I couldn't believe they'll actually end it that way.. so at the end of his suffering he gets to Die and the sonic dude gets to marry her, common, that doesn't even make sense, so after all his hard work he leaves the ring to come and die for her to move on and marry sonic.. It was so hard for me to wrap my head around this..I was even hoping there was a Part 2 but there isn't... The ending was so plain honestly. The directors must have taught of trying something new, but not for a movie like this.

I had the opportunity to sit down and watch the 2020 Taiwanese movie "Da pen ti" (aka "A Choo") here in 2021, and I hadn't even heard about the movie before I sat down to watch it. But it being an Asian movie was more than enough to make me sit down to watch it.

But "A Choo" was a movie that fell a bit short of entertaining me. Now, don't get me wrong here, because I am not saying that it is a bad movie. But writer Giddens Ko just didn't manage to produce a script and storyline that had much of any particular appeal on me. Sure, the movie is watchable, but this was by no means a grand moment in Taiwanese cinema.

They did have some interesting actors and actresses on the cast list, most of which I was not familiar with, so that was something that was good - as that is something I enjoy. I was initially thrilled to see Louis Koo on the cast list, but he just didn't manage to lift up this movie.

Visually then "A Choo" is rather great, lots of good effects and the movie is crammed with some action scenes as well, which help to sell the movie, I suppose.

Ultimately then "A Choo" just wasn't my cup of tea, and as such I am rating it a less than mediocre four out of ten stars.

Storyline is very rich. Mix of fantasy, action, romance, comedy. The cast are also the highlight. Taiwan most famous teen idols and hk popular actor. I can see there are lots of elements in one movie but I don't feel it's not appropriate at all. Even a lot of idea come from many classic movies, but just don't feel a copycat at all. Probably the most entertaining Taiwan movie recently.

What kind of superhero nonsense is this? The kind that kids dream up I suppose.

This movie tries to be too many things and kind of fails at most of them. I loved the childhood part, the brotherhood of the three against the world. The actors are really enjoyable and you could see they were really giving their best, including the older versions. But the superhero twist was really not my thing.

Stopped in the middle months ago, finished it today just to be done with it. It did have an emotional ending, but really, what was it all for? It still feels like a storyline written by kids. But I really liked the actors. Minus the superheroes.

Sonic, you coward...

I don't know about the low rating, but this was a very heartwarming, funny and simple movie. Sure the CGI could be better, but there is something about the storyline that just captured me from the start. It's not a cheesy romantic film, and I'm sure if you watch it you'll adore it.
