Marathi TV serial 'Agabai Sasubai' currently broadcasting on Zee Marathi getting kudos for its interesting story line and for its characters of Asawari, Abhijit Raje, Shubra, and Soham are just fabulous! Soham is mothers spoil child so much so that he hates his stepfather. Soham is greedy for wealth and throws his parents out of their house leaving them homeless. On the contrast Abhijit Raje is willingly sacrificing all his wealth and property for the welfare of Soham and leaves house with his wife Asawari.
Today's young generation desires quick wealth and fame. In order to become rich they choose shortcuts. Soham is one of such character. Somewhat similar character is found in the Bible when Jesus narrates story of the Prodigal Son. We find this in Luke 15:11to 32 where younger son asks father to give his portion of wealth and leaves house to a faraway country and lives lavish life. After spending everything he comes to his senses and decides to return home. His father forgives him and rejoices with everyone for the safe return of his Son. It will be no surprise if Sohams character sooner or later comes to this conclusion too.
Young people, here is a lesson for you to learn.
Respect your parents and be obedient.
Work hard to achieve your goals and never seek short-cuts.
