"Roberto" is told with no dialog...so it doesn't matter where you're from, you can enjoy and appreciate this short film.

The story is told from a woman's point of view. As she ages, she sees herself as fat and unattractive and she hides in her apartment. However, an artist living across from her is interested in a relationship. Can she muster up the courage and look past her body shame to meet the guy?

This is a very good film...especially for young women, who often deal with issues of body shame. I could predict where it would be going but it was done so sweetly, I didn't mind. Well worth seeing and I hope to see more from Carmen Córdoba González.
