Ismo

"Ismo" first aired on Mondays between September 2, 1991 and May 25, 1992. It was shown as various segments across the episodes of the children's magazine program "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" at Yle TV1 channel, replacing the host. Originally the audience could hear the thoughts of Ismo, but soon most of the dialogue was dropped. At the end of the first season, Ismo starts school.

The second season aired together with the series "Papukuvat" on Wednesdays between September 2 and December 16, 1992 on the children's magazine program "Veturi" at Yle TV1 channel. Season two (with the episodes running 2-3 minutes) featured a short title sequence and was shot on location, focusing on Ismo's first day at school. "Ismo" rarely appeared in the TV listings, although actor Mikko Kivinen was often listed as a "host" of "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" during the first season.
