There's a greenhouse, an oasis, behind the trees; it's a verdant paradise that has one bee; a cornucopia of pleasure; overflows with fleshy treasure; recycling and reclaiming endlessly.
A variation on a familiar scene, the performances are great but the intent and interpretation, along with some sizable pot holes and inconsistencies leaves it a little underwhelming.

I know they tried hard and great stuff and all that for the effort. But really, this was like wading through quicksand. Apparently this was filmed during the pandemic, and I'm not sure if this made a difference - everyone seemed to be sleep walking. Perhaps the entire crew thought they were in the Glasshouse too.
In short, a family is trapped in a Glasshouse after an apocalyptic event, and kill anyone who seeks refuge there. The bodies are germinated and used for their crops. Lots of rituals.
Not sure where the water came from. There are also no animals.
Of course, they're all bonkers, and the arrival of a stranger sets off another sequence of bonkers events, but reaallly slooowly.

Loved all the eye candy with that gorgeous Victorian Glass Conservatory. Wow, we just don't make things like we used to. :(
Interesting story that I found to be a mix between The Beguiled (Clint Eastwood) and The Walking Dead (minus the huge amounts of gore).
It's scary enough to have to worry about Alzheimer's and dementia, but to imagine a pandemic in which you lose all your memories and sense of self, and all animals and plants dying (and our very important BEES, that allow life to continue on this rock we call home) Especially to watch this during a pandemic, makes it quite a bit more scary, knowing what we now have learned about lies, misinformation and selfishness in the face of mass death world wide.
Worth a watch, especially if you are a fan of The Beguiled and love beautiful Victorian eye candy like me. :D.

"Glasshouse" is a Drama - Sci-Fi movie in which we watch a family living in a glasshouse after surviving from the spread of a toxin that erases memory called The Shred.
I believe that "Glasshouse" was a big surprise for many viewers since they did not expect it to be so interesting and good. Despite that the plot was simple, it contained some plot twists I did not expect and made it even more interesting. The direction which was made by Kelsey Egan was very good and she presented very well both her main characters and the main plot of the movie without leaving anything unexplained or creating any plot holes. The interpretations of Hilton Pelser who played as The Stranger, Adrienne Pearce who played as The Mother and Jessica Alexander who played as Bee were very good and they made the difference. All in all, I have to say that "Glasshouse" is a nice movie and big surprise for me so, I recommend you to give it a try because I believe it worth's watching it.

Low budget, ok production values with a plot that a snail could speed past. A dystopian movie that is about endurance for both the characters and the audience. I gladly failed the endurance test.
